MC Stable has arguably the best arena in Cape Breton. At 100' by 200' (30.5 x 61m), it is large enough for a barrel pattern, hunter course, or a full-sized dressage arena. The footing is “crusher dust” – superior gravel that stays loose enough to provide cushioning without getting slippery or sticky. It is perfect for high-intensity sports like barrel racing and jumping, as it is deep enough to absorb impact but not too deep, so there's no stress on tendons and ligaments.

The arena is enclosed by a wooden fence with a reinforced top rail and a full-sized gate for safe entry and exit. While there are adjacent fields, there is a 20' buffer between the fields and the arena. The final luxury of our outdoor arena is our two benches for “spectators.”
